paul walker ku sudah berkedut

weekend's up n recap on a few things:

saturday

didnt go anywhere but i have my sis around so xde la sangap. cooked lunch together. i made everybody substitute rice with wholemeal bread. hahaha. dont blame me i juz asked n they agreed. makan dengan my most pekat sedap lazat ever kari tulang n some veges.

had the wimax guy come over to check whether our house can get reception. u see, although my place is in kota damansara, n iklan wimax tu besar2 tulis WIMAX IS NOW IN KOTA DAMANSARA, apparently it doesnt cover everywhere in kota damansara. it juz cover up to jalan 11/11. my place is 11/14. duh. everytime tanya kat booth dia kata x cover lagi. luckily some agent left the pamphlets at the clubhouse n hariz tanya dia our block boleh dapat signal x. dia kata lets check, rasanya boleh green lah signal nya. guy came to check, GREEN!!! yeay! finally ada internet kat umah.

sunday

had some peeps over to our house. we invited our clasmates masa uitm pj dulu. had to do it in batches since umah agak2 boleh runtuh kalo ajak lebih 15 orang. girls sabar ye, nnti when me n hariz have a free weekend we'll hold another makan2 ok..

aku masak semuanya sorg2, so far xde org mangadu cer ber ke hape so line clear ok jangan risau. adik aku x kuar bilik langsung dari aku start masak, org first sampai, until org last balik.

dah lama aku x masak untuk ramai org, best jugak. kat sp je masak banyak2, satu umah spuloh org lah katakan. i think its one of the very few housechores that i like to do. nama pun pemalas..

monday

lama gila x keluar dating!!!! maka sempat la p bercinta shopping moping bagai harta2 baru, n tgk midnight the fast and the furious 4. its good i tell u. tgk la kat wayang since sound system sgt masyuk.

it features the orginal cast of the fast and the furious, n dia ada hala tuju, not like fastnfurious 2, so best lah. walaupun paul walker masih rupa keanak-anakan tapi sudah ada kedut2 org tua. yg tu nampak la. yg len semua best. sampai over2 siap, muka kena tumbuk pun bunyi kebabom hebat gila sampai mcm x percaya tu juz muka kena tumbuk bukan keta meletup hahaha. tapi tu sbb gsc one utama cinema besar mmg sound system best gila kut maka semua dgr best hehehe

tgk ok jgn x tgk

selasa

mata bengkak akibat x cukup tido, muka sembab sebab banyak minum air tengah malam.

back in business!

Yuuhuuu... i’m back y’all!

I was supposed to get back to the office yesterday but i juz took a day off to loosen all my very sore limbs. Hari ni pun colleagues commented nampak letih lagi. Haiii... nak buat camne.. have to start all over again lah, iron the whole wardrobe contents, beli groceries.. nasib baik hariz dgn penuh bangganya menayang rumah bersih, tak payah susah2 nak kemas. Tinggal nak kemas my clutters that i brought home after two weeks membujang di perantauan.

The first ten days was spent in a hotel in genting for induksi. It was quite laidback, juz classes. But the food sucks i tell u i’m gonna forgo eating watermelons n honeydew for a while. we managed to push around a few classes so we had Saturday evening n Sunday morning off. Sempat la ber-randezvous sekejap balik umah.

Next five days was spent in a camp near kota kemuning, shah alam. The course was fine, tapi tinggal dalam dorm yg even more packed than my days in boarding school, n about 60 girls have to share about 10 toilets n ONLY A KOLAH for showering. U juz imagine lah. Sgt new experience ok.

But despite that fact, my newfound girlfriend n i managed to shower AT LEAST two times a day, n i shampooed my hair almost everytime i take a shower since my hair stink from the physical activities. Thank god i packed my hairdryer along. I think i’ve never washed my hair that often u know, sampai twice a day.So much so that i came home n proudly show hariz my new soft, smooth n tangle free hair.

New hair, new zeal, new knowledge n new love for the country. Very enlightening.

But i’m so ready to be home with my bed n shower. Ok anis jgn mimpi kemaruk nak parti kemban ok.

this month hariz’s shift ends at 5 so we’ll have homecooked meals everyday again this month! Yeay!

friday the thirteenth

kalo x dgr radio pagi tadi mmg x perasan.

hari ni hari jumaat.

jumaat, 13 Mac.

friday the thirteenth.

satu:

a Norse mythology pasal a love and fertility goddess named Friga (asal-usul nama Friday tu) yang kena banish after most Norse tribes turn to Christianity, and she was also labeled a witch. so every Friday, she gathered another 11 witches, plus the devil, which makes the gathering thirteen, to plot mende2 buruk for the coming week.

dua:

mike-mike yang baca da vince code mesti tau pasal Knights Templar. it is said that the mass arrest (arrest ke? aku rasa semua kena bunuh je time tu) of these Knights Templar was ordered by King Philip on a Friday the thirteenth.

tiga:

it was widely believed that Abel was killed by Cain on a Friday the thirteenth. yg ni aku x boleh nak confirm adakah kisah Qabil dan Habil menceritakan tarikh yang sama, tu Wallahualam.

bagi aku its in ur head lah kan, ko nak takut, takut la. ko rasa macam ada benda ada kat belakang ko n tgh tenung ko, ada lah benda nya tu.

mcm aku. sangat takut dengan 3.30 pagi. bukan pukul 3, tapi 3 setengah. aku x ingat bila start, tapi sampai sudah aku sangat takut. bila baca buku malam, aku x kisah kalo jam tu 3.17 ke, 3.28 ke, takpe. tapi kalo aku dah tgk jam tu pukul 3.28, aku akan cuba tak tengok jam sampai jam tu tunjuk lebih dari pukul 3.30. 3.32 pun jadi lah. hati aku akan aman. kalo ter-tengok pukul 3.30 tepat, alamat dia aku akan terus tido tanpa tutup lampu tu.

sampai skrg aku tak tau, tapi sekarang dah tak takut.

apsal? sebab sebelum pukul 3 mesti dah tido kihkihkih

aku tak jumpa korg dua minggu tau. take care ok people! muahs!

tunnel smart, tapi tak smart?

i've been put off to watch even the news when it comes to whatever happens to perak lah yang x habis2 cerita nya tu, smart tunnel yg org kata x smart lah.

tapi baca jugak kan. mcm love hate relationship pulak.

ye lah, it was built to turunkan air banjir tu when it comes, but when they close the tunnel to do so, mmg la massive jam nye kan.

nak buat camne. tarik kain kat sini, terselak pulak kat sana. kain x cukup la katakan.

yg gaduh2 xberenti2 tu apsal ntah. senyap2 sikit buleh x? penat la org2 awam ni tgk.

i think this, should summarise it succinctly:

Worry about the economy, please

ON THE BEAT
By WONG CHUN WAI

It’s irrational for our politicians to be more preoccupied with fighting for power rather than fighting to stave off the financial tsunami and saving the jobs of Malaysians.

THE political tsunami that swept Malaysia is already a year old although the manner in which our politicians are going for each other’s throats may suggest otherwise. But it is the financial tsunami that we should be worried about.

The reality is, no one can answer how long the global economic crisis will last and how bad it will be.

Several countries, like Latvia, have slipped into depression, resulting in social unrest.

Some European leaders have admitted they do not know what to do, saying there’s no precedent or textbook formulas for them to rely on to tackle the problems.

In the United Kingdom, only one bank has not been nationalised or rescued by the government. That’s how bad the situation is now.

The United States, the world’s largest market, has been badly hit, resulting in an unemployment rate of 8.1% – the highest in 25 years with 651,000 jobs lost last month alone.

In China, especially in Guangdong, thousands of factories, which relied mostly on the American market, have shut down, resulting in millions losing their jobs.

Last week, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said that this year would be the country’s most difficult year in this century.

He has declared an annual growth rate of 8%, with analysts saying that anything less than that could lead to political problems.

As for Singapore, the country’s benchmark stock index may fall about 20% more as the city-state sinks deeper into recession.

In Malaysia, the economic tsunami has yet to affect us but the sign of a deteriorating economy is showing.

We will not escape the impact of the global financial crisis although the authorities have refuted claims that the country is facing a recession.

Malaysia’s economy, which is heavily dependent on manufacturing, grew by a mere 0.1% in the last three months of 2008. This took annual growth to 4.6%, below official targets.

The second stimulus plan, in which the Government is spending another RM10bil, has been tabled in Parliament to revive the economy. This takes it to a total of RM17bil.

For Malaysians, especially in the private sector, it means re-looking their working patterns. By now, the orders are already out – no more new staff, no extension for staff reaching retirement age unless absolutely necessary, cut on business trips and, for sure, no bonuses.

Employers are scrutinising their operating expenditures, looking hard to find items that can save their companies money during this doom-laden period.

As with any economies, Malaysia is no different. The brunt of the layoffs would be on workers in factories, the retail sector, construction and hotels. That means it would hit the less educated ones the most.

At the Asia News Network meeting in Bangkok last week, many newspaper editors expressed their bewilderment at the excessive politicking in Malaysia.

Many of these media practitioners have friends and relatives in Malaysia and they voiced their concern at what is happening in our country, where our leaders seem more preoccupied with fighting for power instead of fighting to keep jobs for Malaysians.

In the assessment of their companies performances, whether in print or multi-media, the results will be the same – drops in revenue and circulation – as they grapple with the credit crunch.

The priorities of our politicians, however, are mixed up, and more Malaysians are becoming frustrated and even alienated at what they see as the failure of leaders, regardless of their political beliefs, to face the financial tsunami that is coming our way.

It is time that Malaysians insist that our politicians stop their antics, call a truce and get on with the real job of governing the states and the country.
